Key responsibilities and relationships are summarised below. These entities are highly visible to senior management and their regulated status means that strong effective controls must be maintained. This will require a high degree of anticipation of the effects of business and intra group events on the entities and the ability to quickly and accurately supply the demands for information about the entities in this group and their financial, regulatory and tax situation.   Key accountabilities:  - Managing the balance sheet reconciliation and review for Irish and UK Life Companies.   - Supporting the liquidity monitoring for the Irish and Life Companies.  - Review of general ledger posting and control.   - Control the production of management packs for review by UK and Ireland.   - Production of non-regulatory returns for UK Life company (OFT/ABI).   - Fund Partner income monitoring and support.  - Support for the UK and Ireland Capital, Liquidity and Financial Risk forum.   - Supervision of one member of staff in the India team.  - Production of quarterly regulatory returns for review by UK and Ireland (required following Solvency II introduction).  - Control of the preparation and posting of accruals with analysis of differences from expectations.  - Liaising with relationship managers to oversee debtor management.  - Work with the UK and Ireland controllers on the introduction and testing of AMR reporting for SII  - Assist with the implementation and testing of new insurance accounting solution  - Support the conversion to FRS 103 for UK Insurance accounting   Essential skills and experience:  - Qualified Accountant with around 5-6 years of experience in an accounting role with Financial Services   sector.  - Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office software packages and proficient with Microsoft Excel.   - Self-motivated, resilient, energetic with strong attention to detail.  - Ability to balance monitoring detail and also see bigger picture with regard to financial transactions.  - Resilience and an ability to probe and resolve issues.  - Intellectual curiosity and tenacity.  - Solid organisational skills and ability to work as a team.  Desirable skills and experience  - Working to support a UK finance team from an office environment.  - Exposure to Insurance Sector would be an advantage   - Experience of regulated environment/reporting.  - Experience of Hyperion HFM, JDE environments and Microsoft Access.  Interested candidates can share their resumes can reach me at 7838090993.
