Role - Mergers & Acquisitions Function - Finance Department - Mergers & Acquisitions Level - Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Location- Gurgaon Role and Responsibility: - Drive Internet market scanning to identify potential investment/acquisition targets both in the domestic as well as international markets. - Do exhaustive research on new sectors for investment including identifying value drivers, risks, global parallels, target companies, listed company multiples. - Drive deal origination by building deep ties across the start-up ecosystem - entrepreneurs, VC's, bankers, accelerators/incubators, and other industry participants - Develop financial models, Investment Committee Memos and Investment Memorandums. - Support all stages of the investment process including origination, valuation, due diligence, transaction execution and integration - Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate opportunities, analysing the opportunity and presenting recommendations based on strategic fit, deal structure and transactional issues - Post investment work closely with the investee companies in monitoring performance and ensuring value creation Desired Skill Set: - The ideal candidate for this role would have experience working with Investment Banks, Venture Capital, private equity or corporate development team at a technology company - Internet/technology industry experience will be preferred - Understanding of the technology landscape and a strong network within the Indian start-up ecosystem, including entrepreneurs and investors - Good understanding of overall investment process including term sheets, diligence and definitive documentation - Top-tier MBA's / CFA/ CA with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
