As a part of its new business initiatives drive, Mahindra Comviva is contemplating a new business venture in partnership with industry leading names.   Position :   The role will be that of a Business Lead and would involve end to end participation in creating a start-up business line, with a potential to create a USD 50Mn business over the next 5 years.   Focus will be on people with entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, drive & energy. If the person has the right attitude and capabilities, this role provides an exposure of a life time; and a chance to contribute in ways 2x yrs experienced people can only start dreaming about.  - Spear-head the aggressive roll out of the GTM strategy for banks and merchants networks in Metros, Tier 1,2 and 3 across India.  - Merchant and Customer Acquisitions and Sustainable Revenue Generation  - Manage the merchant services operations and on-going relationship with merchants and banks (in the acquirer processing and merchant acquisition space)  Role will be evolving. It will entail the following aspects:  - Global and Regional Market Analysis, Market Research , GTM Strategy and Roll-out  - P/L ownership to the business line  - Prospective Merchants and Banks. Identifying & Closing local , state, national brands. Acquire, Develop and manage merchants.   - Conduct effective negotiations with Merchants for competitive and sustainable pricing/terms for the business.  - Help identify customer pain points and needs to effective evolve the solution road map and offerings  - Creation and Nurturing of the external and internal eco-system  - Partnerships, Alliances and M&A  - Client Pitching and Sales  - Market Positioning, Branding and Collateral Creation  - Acquisition Team Management /Third Party Governance involved in direct Sales (if any)  - Contract Management and Governance  - Engagement with CXO Levels  Background needed :  MBAs from IIMs or equivalent category of premier institutes. Engineering degree would be preferred. Minimum experience of 3 years with direct to consumer market exposure expected. Experience of payments or card industry is preferred . Strong hands-on approach, but backed by insightful and strategic thought process.  Travel : Medium (aprox 7-8 working days month in steady state)
