Business Title : PEX Manager - Process Excellence

Reports To (list day to day Manager) : Site PEX transformation Partner
Purpose/Summary: What is the employee accountable for? Why is this role/position important in terms of impact? Maersk GSC's have around 10000 employees across 5 centers delivering services to our Partners & customers in Liner and Global business units. PEX coach support the Site PEX transformation coach and is responsible for instilling PEX thinking and behaviour, at all levels,within a site to enable the business processes to run in a standardized, capable and efficient way through out Value stream. Developing such competencies through training, coaching and bringing best in class PEX practices & standards is critical towards GSC's ambition to become a value adding partner to Liner and Global Business Units.
Key Responsibilities: Include how the colleague is going to be measured- (This section should include specific targets or defined measurements. For example, - Reduce call hold time by 10%, Create 7 new client contacts,etc.)
Support PEX transformation partner and coaches in conducting Kaizen belt training and post training coaching
Support the PEX transformation partner on piloting concepts, creating standards and practices
Mentors GB for certification & conducts Kaizen Belt training and post training coaching for certification
Acts as a coach to the Team leaders on the floor
Conduct employee training to instill PEX practices at the front line
Carry out PEX engagement initiatives like center wide Kaizen program
Manages PEX communication and connects through Promos, Newsletter, PEX Grand prix, PEX day etc. Support the GSC in building and sustaining PEX competencies required in the business process through training, coaching and certifications
Mentors cross function site projects
Acts as a role model and coach regarding the use of PEX tools, methodology and application in the process
Position Specifications: The minimum education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities required to perform the position. For Example, Education and Experience (Education - College Degree- What should the highest level be completed or Experience - How many years of experience should the incumbent have overall and specifically in - the industry, function, technical area- )
A Black belt certified with over all 6 -10 years with 2 to 3 years of Post BB certification Engineering or Management graduate, preferably with a strong technical background /aptitude to facilitate the understanding of how Process Excellence can be used to meet specific business needs
Experience from a similar position in a BPO and manufacturing entity
Strong coaching and facilitation skills, envisioning and overcoming obstacles while ensuring benefits are realized
Visionary, innovative and dynamic
Highly result oriented, ready to take challenges and able to work under pressure
High analytical / problem-solving skills
Technical Skills: List any specific computer equipment, programs or systems colleague would be responsible for operating.
Exceptional understanding of the Lean/Six Sigma toolbox (Maersk Improvement Model)
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact and pilot the stated processes and frameworks
Ability to coach and develop Team leaders and staff
Ability to influence without authority
Strong facilitation and coaching
Ability to listen, observe and critically evaluate all parts of what (s)he does
