Typical day or key task :
- Design and provide solution of global Finance Analytics service
- Create Finance Analytics product offering
- Continuous improvements on current process designs as a part of Transformation agenda
- Defining and driving IT business requirements and related changes.
- Accountable for ensuring value add from - Analytics- practice including taking analytics to advanced level across verticals and provide proactive pointers to business problems Progress from a - Finance analysis service- to a - high end Finance analytics service- i.e. moving up the value chain
- Engage with Regions/Clusters and Value stream group to ensure company's business goal is translated in transformational plan.
- Ensure service delivery of Finance Analytics models & reports as per committed service levels
- Drive standardization, Process Design, Process Improvements and Migrations for Finance Analytics Practice.
- Ensure implementation of Industry benchmark methodology for attaining excellence in execution.
- Provide consistent and predictable high quality service to business partners/ customers.
- The person would help analyze particularly the financial data that is generated from various business streams and provide diagnostic insights on the KPIs and risks/ concerns.
- These should help, identify red flags, leverage on potential opportunities and take appropriate decisions.
- Going forward, the person should play a key role in providing high end predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions in the area of finance to the organization
- Accountable for Employee Engagement, control attrition & turnover of team.
- Ensure Organization is designed optimally and ensuring sufficient Org Depth.
Work Experience :
Key Functional and Technical Skills :
- CA/ MBA/ PhD Finance with minimum of 8 years Industry experience in analytics/ consulting/ related areas.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in manipulating datasets using SAS, SPSS, R and other analytic tools particularly focusing on predictive analytics, forecasting, data mining, optimization, statistical analysis, econometrics and other quantitative methods
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience in Data modeling and analysis/ Business Intelligence preferred.
- Strong MS Excel/ MS Access/ Powerpoint skills/ Microstrategy/ TIBCO Spotfire.
- Should have a good understanding of business, finance and accounting aspects.
- Ability to handle large datasets
