This will provide you with the expert knowledge needed to excel in the role and for further career development.   Key Responsibilities:  - Responsible to deliver Consumer Vertical budget for FFE's and revenue as per agreed targets  - Act as the focal client contact, identify Consumer Vertical clients- business strategies and objectives, logistics and transportation needs and buying criteria to develop and articulate value-based solutions to address their needs and wants.  - Develop deep and senior relationships with assigned Consumer Vertical clients and take every opportunity to probe for business opportunities. Utilize the senior-client contact relationship to open doors and support the account-development process.  - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide first-class service to further increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.   - Collaborate with key client owners for tender discussions and tender allocations with the aim to grow SOW and retain business  - Track and analyze market development and provide current updates on the trends and fluctuations in the trade for the Consumer Industry.  - Study and leverage internal and external financial data to build winning strategies.  - Serve as key person on industry committees, seminars and trade fairs; provide feedback to relevant stake holders as to the trend in the retail segment.  - Communicate closely and proactively with management, provide strong support to all development initiatives, policies, processes and guidelines.  - Position Maersk Line as the preferred transportation partner with clients.  Who we are looking for   - Master's degree.  - Fluent spoken and written English.  - Minimum 6 years- relevant sales experience with 3 years- proven track record in transport/logistics sales and/or major client management.  - Excellent knowledge in supply chain management coupled with a good understanding of India's business, sourcing, logistics and transportation market.  - Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.  - Highly analytical with proven negotiation skills.   - Excellent commercial acumen.  - Passionate, strong initiative, self-driven with commitment to succeed.  About Maersk Line:  Maersk Line is the world's largest container shipping company, known for reliable, flexible and eco-efficient services.
