Job overview (purpose/ summary)   An integral part of the job is to be responsible for ownership of Equipment Management processes: 	 Includes equipment processes impacting container flow -  - Sourcing  - Infleeting  - Flow management  - Outfleeting 	 Proactive and effective in engaging the operations community across various levels in HQ, LOC’s and Country Clusters.  	 Accountable for process designing / solutioning, defining IT requirements for systems pertaining to the equipment management processes.  	 Accountable for evaluating / leading opportunity assessments   Key Responsibilities  - Drives implementation of strategic equipment management initiatives within and outside the GSC sphere.  - Provides input and designs solutions based on voice of customer (voc) / voice of process (vop) reviews.  - Responsible for defining key performance indicators (KPI’s) / establishing Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and targets within the equipment processes and reviewing performance at agreed intervals. 	 - Continuously scan the external / internal environment to benchmark, adopt best practices & generate initiatives. 	 - Drive continuous improvements in processes to deliver a stable and meaningful business process supporting the business agenda.  - Define and Facilitate IT business requirements and related changes that support process solutions.   - Responsible for collaborating proactively with stakeholders in:  - Driving down total cost / transaction pertaining to the equipment management processes.  - Driving further elimination / simplification / automation and/or off-shoring of the equipment management processes.  - Providing support to the execution teams on process related queries.  - Defines and articulates contingency plans pertaining to equipment management processes in consultation with the execution teams.  Primary Stakeholders (Internal) 	 - Core BPOs / Value Stream Managers  - HQ Operations Team  - LOC and Cluster Operations Functional Managers  - GSC process execution / transformation peer group community  - MLIT organisation  Key Measures  	 - Total cost / transaction in respect of the equipment management processes   - Efficiency gains  - Improve E2E process capability.  - Customer Satisfaction Score (external)  - Improvement of company cost picture related to Operations  Skills required   - Thorough E2E understanding of Liner Operations (LOC) process including technology interfaces  - Prior experience in equipment management will be an added advantage  - Transformation mindset  - Change management skills  - Creative thinking and persuasive mindset   - Good communication skills  - Cross-cultural understanding  - Conflict resolution skill.  - Team player  - Lives the cultural amplier  Candidates SHOULD possess shipping and logistics background as prior experience.
