The Human Resources Sr. Manager - CSC Bangalore has responsibility for helping to effectively design and implement business focused people programs, services and systems that support the Lowe's Vision in assigned CSC-B departments. These duties encompass staffing, retention, performance management, employee engagement, employee development, succession planning, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion. This person will also coach and provide guidance and interpretation of a variety of company HR policies and initiatives, including compensation, benefits, organizational restructuring, compliance, etc.   As an HR generalist, this person works in partnership with other HR specialist functions, including Training & Development, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, etc. to deliver the aforementioned services to CSC managers and employees in Lowe's Bangalore global in-house center (GIC) and Lowe's Innovation Lab (LIL).   As Lowe's Services India Private Ltd. is still in start-up, the HR Sr. Mgr will also be responsible for developing and maintaining core HR programs like talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, change management, etc. The position is part of the CSC-B HR leadership team and reports to the Director, Corporate Human Resources.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Staffing and Retention:  - Will partner with the Talent Acquisition team, as needed, to help identify and execute strategies or tactics to address the staffing needs of assigned CSC departments, including experienced and college recruiting.  - Will help assigned CSC departments execute strategies to address employee placement and retention goals.  - Will help assigned CSC departments to effectively onboard new employees, including assisting, as appropriate, with the New Employee Orientation training and the new employee Onboarding process.  Performance Management:  - Will ensure that managers in assigned CSC departments are trained in setting SMART performance goals and conducting effective performance appraisals.  - Will ensure that annual performance appraisals are conducted appropriately and according to schedule for all employees in the departments.  - Will use HR metrics to help assess and optimize employee and unit performance in assigned CSC departments.  Employee Engagement:  - Will provide training and guidance to managers in assigned CSC departments to improve employee engagement and create a culture of inclusion.  Employee Development:  - Working in partnership with the Learning and Development leader, will help managers and employees in assigned CSC departments diagnose employee development needs and access resources to address those needs.  Succession Planning:  - Working in partnership with the Director, HR will help managers in assigned CSC departments execute succession planning processes.  Employee Relations:  - Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees in assigned CSC departments on all employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance/conduct issues, compensation and benefits, and the application of HR policies and procedures. Will leverage HR Ops ER team as necessary.  - Will investigate and help resolve internal employee complaints in assigned CSC departments.   - Will conduct exit interviews on terminated employees in assigned CSC departments, as well as diagnose issues or trends and prescribe appropriate corrective actions.  - Will help to design and execute the processes and procedures necessary to carry out organizational restructuring in assigned CSC departments.  Diversity and Inclusion:  - Will help assigned CSC departments develop, execute and monitor the progress of action plans to execute the Lowe's Diversity and Inclusion Initiative.  Special Assignments:  - Will complete special assignments, projects, or tasks, as deemed appropriate by the Director Corporate Human Resources.
