(SR)  NPI Margin Enhancement through refinement of Markdown Optimization and deeper visibility of Non-Productive Inventory  Description: Assess, analyze and make improvements to our Markdown Optimization process and forecasting capabilities to improve accuracy, margin and sell through of non-productive inventory.  Success Criteria: Decrease NPI from $415MM and improve overall NPI margin rate from 29.41%  Steps:-  - Provide insights to merchandising to take action on reducing NPI levels and minimizing margin impact   - Provide weekly reporting of markdowns ending and calling out those that will got to level 4/5 and have greater impact to margin.  - Assist in extending markdowns as needed to maintain margin  - Assist in identifying items in automated markdown that should be in Markdown optimization.  - Add value in Product Line Review meetings and provide the most optimal Clearance impact forecast.  - Support the Aged Inventory Process to initiate markdown optimization for NPI greater than 18 months.   Develop the Pricing Strategy Framework and the underlying analytics supporting it.   Description: Recommend and define business rules and processes around price optimization, markdown optimization and pricing strategies.  Success Criteria: Defined business rules and strategies supported by analytics.  Steps:-  - Evaluate current markdown business rule strategies and optimize to minimize margin loss and write-off.  - Evaluate data inputs into model, including competitive data, line design, price families and PLR.  - Collaborate with merchandising, IT, and solution provider and other business partners to collect data and analyze requirements.  Educational Qualifications :-  - Post Graduate with relevant experience between 1-8 yrs  - Experience in consulting background, problem solving skills, good communication and presentation skills  - Demonstrated experience working on unstructured business problems  - Retail Industry experience a plus  - Hands on experience in SAS and SQL tool.
