1. Freight booking for imports (National & International).

2. Supervising Export-import documentation.

3. Letter of Credit opening and status.

4. Scrutinizing documents for export-import as Letter of Credits to avoid discrepant documents to bank.

5. Handling suppliers and customers for various issues // updates // shipments

6. Warehouse management for cargo receiving/dispatch and inventory.

7. Costing of Commodities landed.

8. Assisting head to take decision for allocation of commodity at right time.

9. Ageing of stocks so that old stocks can be liquidated.

10.Coordination with shipping line / suppliers / banks / internal departments / insurance companies.

11. Vessel chartering for break bulk cargo with different agents.

12. Preparing purchase contract and vessel chartering fixtures.

13. Liasoning with insurance companies for claims settlement.

14. Assisting management for various issues and decisions.

15. Sales projection vs collection with coordination of sales managers.

16. Keeping track of advances to/from suppliers/customers.

17. All shipments tracking for arrivals.

18. MIS reports for management reporting.

19. Payment follows up with customers.

20. All coordination for clearance of export-import goods in timely manner.

Educational Exposure:

MBA in Supply chain, logistic & Operations from the premier Institute.
