Key focus areas: - Responsible for - the P&L, Roadmap, Strategy and end-to-end ownership of multiple Categories - Developing a deep consumer and market understanding, to build the right Category products - Developing and executing the Category Strategy & Roadmap, in sync with the company AOP - Building a robust and predictable supply-chain of supply-side partners and developing long-term partner relationships - Working on special projects with internal/external stakeholders, to drive Category growth/optimizing key metrics - Ownership of the Customer/Operations/Business Metrics of the Category - Drive category product launches, working directly with all key stakeholders (Product, Engg, Sales, Marketing etc) - Build and scale a high-performing team of Sr Category Managers & Category Managers Qualifications/ Skill-set: - 6+ years of work experience in e-commerce, FMCG, startups or Consulting - Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making mentality - Skilled in working on projects with multiple stakeholders - Strong leadership- and people skills - Extremely high level of ownership - Excellent - written and verbal - communication skills - Should be from NIT/BITS/IIT/IIM/ISB/Tier-1 B-schools
