Salary : Upto 8 Lacs  Position : Accounts Manager - Online Sales   Reporting to : NSM  Department : Online Sales  Purpose   - To sell and promote LN Online products. Maximize subscription renewals and product sales by increasing market penetration, visibility and by strengthening relationships amongst designated accounts.  Accountabilities :  - Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sale goals and profitability.  - Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.  - Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.  - Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.  - Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding market performance.  - Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.  - Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports  - Creates and conducts proposal presentations.  - Drives preparation of proposals and presentations.  - Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.  - Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.  Knowledge, Competencies & Experience :  Knowledge :  - Good in depth knowledge of the Legal/Corporate /Academic Markets  - Product knowledge of online products and subscription based selling.  - Working knowledge of MS Office and Internet.  - Institutional Sales and Distribution Channel/s  Competencies :  - Good Communication skills  - Time management/ Ability to multi-task  - Account Management / Good in Interpersonal relationships  - Analytical and Process orientated.  - Strong execution abilities and enthusiastic.  - Excellent people interface and matrix team management skills.  Experience :  - Prior experience in sales ( 04 - 07 Years )  - Experience in Subscription based selling. ( at least 2 Years )  - Experience preferred in Online / Publishing / Legal trade / Academic Institutions  Key Performance Indicators :  - Revenue generation ( Budget v/s Actual Achievement)  - No. of Online contracts signed, Upgraded and Renewed  - Developing market in terms of relationship building/covering the width and depth of customers.  - Customer Satisfaction, as measured by retention and upsell  - On time Sales MIS
