One of the Group's flagship companies is a major player in the Indian pharmaceuticals industry with a vision of becoming a global entity in the arena.  With an all-round experience in generation, transmission and distribution of power, and a proven track record of implementing large power projects, our Client is the most experienced private sector player in Gujarat.  Job Relationships:  Reporting to: GM (Legal and Regulatory Affairs)   Role & Responsibilities :  - Preparing and briefing Company's lawyers in various cases.  - Preparing applications or replies in legal proceedings in Civil, Criminal Courts, Regulatory Commission and other authorities.  - Preparing and arranging presentation of documentary and other evidence in legal proceedings.  - Following up Court cases, and legal proceedings advancing Company's interests.  - Examining and giving legal advice on various business matters including Civil, Criminal, Regulatory matters.  - Drafting and conveyance contracts, deeds, bonds, etc.  - Assisting Head Legal Cell in his work.  - Updating MIS regarding legal cases.  - Maintaining liaison with statutory and legal authorities including Police to follow-up and expedite Company's work.  Competency requirements:  - Thorough knowledge of civil laws, criminal laws and banking/commerce related laws necessary.  - Should have working knowledge of Marathi  - Should be proficient in working in a computerized environment.  - Knowledge and handling of Electricity related cases would be preferable  Qualification & Experience:  - Graduation with LLB  - 8-10 years of post qualification experience as an Legal Officer in a reputed organization with hands on experience in legal administration.  Location: Bhiwandi, Thane   Compensation: On par with the industry standards  Kindly revert with your updated profile and CTC details at the earliest.  Prateema
