Legal Counsel - Chemical Manufacturing Firm

My client a Fortune 500 Chemical Manufacturing firm are recruiting for a Legal Counsel to join their lean team in Mumbai.

- Ideally they are looking for someone with 6-8 years of experience in private practice or in-house. Experience of working within a Chemical or manufacturing company is a huge advantage.

- You will have strong contract skills as will be involved in looking at commercial contracts and advising on a variety of issues day to day.

- Provide day to day commercial support

- You will provide legal support for the running of their manufacturing plants and of selling and importing of the products

- Negotiation with suppliers/customers

- Supporting regulatory requirements

- From time to time you will be required to support compliance investigations and provide litigation support.

- You will be interacting regularly with global stakeholders in Singapore, US and Europe.

- They need someone with a good legal foundation who has a practical approach to solutions who can work independently.

This is an immediate requirement to start in January 2016.
