Legal & Compliance Manager - Financial Sector

JD:

Job requirements:

- Adequate understanding of the financial industry and various instruments such as shares, debentures, bonds etc.

- Capable of handling Legal & Compliance activities related to capital markets

- Min 2-4 years experience in BFSI sector

- International exposure in Legal & Compliance activities is preferred

Compliance:

- Have a superior knowledge and experience of various BFSI compliances such as stock market trading, Mutual Funds, AIF, NCD issuances etc.

- Superior communication skills & writing / drafting ability; with an ability to liaise with senior level functionaries

- Ability to track and analyse regulatory changes and build administrative controls in coordination with other stakeholders

- Drafting and implementation of the governance policies & initiatives

- Driving Compliance initiatives

- Contribute in providing guidance to front office and back office in resolving all issues related to regulatory requirements

Legal:

- Drafting and negotiation of ISDA Master Agreement and its Schedules, Prime Broker, Executing Broker etc. and providing legal advice pertaining to such documents

- Liaise with counter parties, external counsels etc

- Develop processes, templates and approval parameters for various arrangements

- To provide legal advice in connection with the above aspects
