Currently we are hiring a senior leader in the area of Learning & Talent Development for our client.

Client: Leading IT Player

Location: Bangalore

Career Level: Sr. Manager

Role: Learning and Talent Development Operations and Project Lead

The Learning and Talent Development Projects and Operations lead is responsible for two primary areas:

- Projects: This role works on strategic cross Learning and Talent Development projects on an as needed basis. Responsibilities may include project leadership, design, development or project management.

- Team Operations: This role is responsible to ensure all Learning and Talent Development people are informed, integrated and know how to get things done.

This role is overall responsible to support the Learning and Talent Development Lead in the effective running of the organization. This role will work with the Operations leads across HR and the Organization Effectiveness lead to accomplish broader HR objectives. This role is also a single POC for Learning and Talent Development requests from outside the organization.

Operations Activities include, but are not limited to:

Coordination and Communication: This role will ensure coordination and communication across Learning and Talent Developemtn. Responsible for managing leadership and all team call schedules and agendas, cross team communications/deliverables, and team websites all aimed to keep the team informed and engaged. Act as a single point of contact for all Learning and Talent Development members to get questions answered or point people to where they can get questions answered.

Engagement and new member Integration: This role will ensure the proper processes are in place and being executed to ensure team members are engaged and new members are welcomed to the team.

Talent Management: This role will design and drive the Learning and Talent Development talent management activities and rating process.

Financial: This role will create and manage the overall Learning and Talent Development budget for the fiscal year, monitor financial reports and actuals to budget, investigate charges that appear inaccurate, and provide cross Learning and Talent Development reporting. Part of this management includes addressing accruals at the end of the fiscal year. This role is a SPOC for Learning and Talent Development to the finance organization.

Team Admin: This role will maintain the master roster and distribution lists across Learning and Talent Development. As such, this role will need to be informed of personnel additions, departures, and changes via the Operations leads across HR.

Metrics/Adhoc Requests for Information: This role will have responsibility for providing/gathering relevant metrics or other adhoc information for global HR or as requested

Value Creator

- Use personal network and overall knowledge of operations, to help all team members get questions answered quickly.

- Minimize and streamline requests for information minimizing leadership time spent on requests

- By having a cross team view, ensure integration across HR to maximize information sharing and collective output.

- Manage the goals, objectives, overall performance and budget of any assigned project/project.

Business Operator

- Manage the critical path, dependencies, deliverable completion and milestones according to required dates and raise issues early if need be.

- Create annual budget and manage financial forecasts and reporting; ensure adherence to budget

- Orchestrate timely delivery across a complex, global organizational structure

- Execute day-to-day activities associated with the development and roll-out and implementation of complex and demanding HR projects as well as the running of the Learning and Talent Development organization.

People Developer

- Mentor and provide career and performance development guidance to direct report(s) and others who may provide support on various initiatives.

- Provide performance feedback to team members

- Demonstrate effective teaming skills both within and outside of the team

- Motivate others to deliver high quality work

- Facilitate the sharing of knowledge and proven best practices amongst the team

Work Experience

- Total 15+ Years ; 5+ years relevant experience in a HR function

- Experience in project planning, management and execution

- Broad functional knowledge and experience in HR

- Good understanding of company’s HR policies, processes and procedures

- Good understanding of the company’s business strategy, objectives, organizational structure and key contacts

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Good facilitation and presentation skills

- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills

- Flexibility to adapt to changing business situations

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a virtual work environment
