Job Purpose & Profile
This is a team leader position for the Key Accounts Management, Financing Program & Pricing. The purpose of the job is to partner & strategically grow the business and brand of company in India through innovative buying solutions and key account management strategies.
In this position, incumbent is expected to play a mentorship role to key personnel, assisting in the execution of duties where necessary, constantly honing their skills, ensuring their constant professional improvement, and essentially readying them for larger roles in future.
Key Account Management
Key Account Management role strives to establish industry leading initiatives that influence the position of the business in the industry while building & maintaining a long term relationship with the key accounts maximising business opportunities within them. Key elements of the role are Strategic thinking, Relationship building, Collaboration & Analytics with following objectives:
- Growing and developing existing clients through account specific growth strategies
- Building strategic relationships with major customers & delivering high value to customers with an objective to have loyal and long lasting customers.
- Playing an integral role in new business pitches to the C-Suite/Senior Executives & Group Purchasing Organisations
- Being a central, pivotal point of contact for the Key Accounts
- Driving alignment within the whole organization to implement a consumer based mode of operation for delivering highest quality of services
Financial Program:
Developing an innovative market leading financing program, which helps fuel the business further. This would include:
- Conducting Market research to understand customer behaviour & need for financing solutions
- Collaborating with International counterparts to understand and implement learnings from other markets
- Designing appropriate solutions and launch the Flex Financial Program for the India business.
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams & dealers to enhance business through better outcomes.
- Develop effective processes for ensuring an effective management of the program.
- Continuously innovate market leading solutions matching the latest customer behaviour & needs creating a competitive advantage
- Continuous optimisation & Business process improvement
Pricing:
Develop and manage a robust business analytics platform (tools and processes) to support:
Price optimization modelling
Reference pricing impact analysis
Business Case reviewing
- Provide robust pricing & contracting recommendations to Sales and Marketing teams for trade as well as tenders
- Developing financial, profitability evaluation and pricing models including reference pricing models to optimise profitability
- Commercial management (Packages, MRP, Discount Policies/ developing discount matrix, Pricing Policies) and responsible for related internal controls ensuring compliance with Company policies.
- Managing/Supporting rate contracts working closely with Sales and Marketing teams
- Preparing strategic business proposals with solid commercial evaluation and running simulations and scenario analysis.
