Responsibilities :
Research and Sourcing :
- Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to develop the search strategy, provide a - target list- where appropriate
- Explore all appropriate sourcing methods on a vacancy by vacancy basis
- Partner with all external recruitment vendors (recruitment agencies, universities etc)
- Manage external recruitment vendors (negotiate T&Cs)
- Establish on-going relationships with key passive candidates - Build a pool of strong candidates within the dedicated areas
- Develop new channels to feed talent database (trade shows, events, refer a friend, trade press)
- Manage relationships with job boards, negotiate rates
- Work closely with Researchers to explain new roles and set expectations for them to assist recruitment on a vacancy by vacancy basis. -
Operational :
- Use the candidate management database to effectively manage the recruitment lifecycle, search for internal and external candidates, track vacancies and provide reports as required
- Maintain data integrity in the candidate management database, ensuring all records are current and accurate
- Analyse hiring data and communicate results and trends with relevant managers
- Manage offers and referrals
- Ensure vacancies are posted on relevant job boards, LinkedIn and career page
- Manage speculative applications
- Work on ad-hoc strategic recruitment projects as required
Industry knowledge :
- Keep abreast of trends, developments and industry activity
- Understand the competitive landscape, compile and share relevant industry news
- Attend relevant trade shows, seminars, networking events to increase understanding of the industry
Employer Branding :
- Create and drive innovative and engaging quality content (video, copy, photo) across the Harrods resourcing social media channels to help attract the best people in line with business hiring needs
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to lead the social media content calendar and manage the campaigns from conception to execution
- Utilise scheduling tools to plan content and measure, analyse and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, create monthly and ad-hoc reporting and analyses to inform future planning
- Engage with our social media audience on a daily basis, review conversations and respond to queries
