Job Responsibilities & Key Result Areas  - Design new processes.  - Identify Process improvement projects by discussing with Process Owners.  - Utilize continuous improvement techniques, initiate process improvements, TAT reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at eliminating non-value added activities in the process.   - Study the AS-IS Process and identify the gaps in the current process.  - Perform Root Cause Analysis of the process gaps.  - Determine scope of standardization of the processes across all operational levels.  - Propose TO-BE state of the process.  - Prepare the Business Requirements Document and get approval from all key stakeholders.  - Develop a Project Plan for the Process improvement project with specific milestones, KPIs, and success criteria.  - Track and publish project status.  - Document the change processes and identify pit-falls to make the process perform in its intended purpose.  - Coordinate any system development activity with IT team.  - Review progress on development and testing activities.  - Monitor process performance with data.  - Identify various modes of process failure and plug them with process corrections.  - Mistake proofing in the processes for reliability in results.  - Coordinate with process owners for smooth hand-off.  - Coordinate SCM training and certification and other knowledge sharing and management activities.  Desired Skills & Competencies  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills  - Process re-engineering skills  - Project management skills  - Strong problem solving skills with an eye for detail  - Passion for excellence  - Strong collaborative skills  - Good Supply Chain Management domain knowledge  - Well versed with various process improvement frameworks (lean, six sigma, BPM)  - Experience in IT projects and SCM systems  Ideal Candidate  - Preference given to certified Six sigma Green belt /black belt trained candidates  - PMP certified  - Preference given to people with experience in process management & project/program management
