SUMMARY   Ensure the right product mix at the right price to tap the opportunity in all the categories for the concept to service the demand optimally.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Product Planning and Performance  Identify and quantify the available market opportunity  Align buy with planning & finalize the sales, margin and inventory for the Concept  Analyze the trends prevailing in the international market and forecast for the season  Plan the product range and pricing strategy based on desired positioning to optimally tap the opportunity  Initiate buying as per OTB and ensure timely delivery and availability of stocks at the store  Perform gap analysis post launch and make appropriate corrections  Regularly collect and analyze product feedback during store visits  Track competition in terms of business performance, promotions and offers  Manage Brand relationships. Negotiate terms of trade with new brands and regularly review performance of existing brands for corrective action.  Product Presentation  Ensure timely implementation of plannograms and define the guidelines for proper presentation of the product in the stores  Work with the Marketing team for photo campaigns to ensure the next season trends and style are well captured and presented  Brands and vendor management  Build long term relationships with brand partners / vendors by understanding their strategy, positioning, scalability and relevance  Assess and build relationships with vendors for quality, price, scalability and best practices  Desired Profile   Candidate should have Ladies Ethnic Wear Buying Experience.  Candidate with Retail Buying Exposure will be Considered for the Role.  Should have successfully managed Ladies Ethnic Wear Category
