KGS is building next-generation Business Intelligence and Analytics offerings to enable organizations to create information assets, built on sound business and technology foundations.   KGS Management Consulting (Data & Analytics)  Data & Analytics (D&A) has been identified as a key focus and strategic investment area for KPMG globally. KGS is poised to be at the center of the D&A initiative, and we are in the process of creating comprehensive capabilities aligned to the global D&A vision. This will include technical and functional capabilities across the D&A spectrum comprising Advanced Analytics, Modeling, Data Management and Big Data. We are looking to hire the following roles across the D&A spectrum  1. Data  - Build and maintain infrastructure and programs to support data collection, ETL (extract, transform, load) and analysis. The role works in a multidisciplinary team to tackle unstructured data processing problems across a diverse range of industries. Strong foundational knowledge and experience with a range of big data components such as HDFS/ MAPRED / PIG / HBase / SQOOP / Hive / MPP / MapReduce/ Java / MDX TSQL / NoSQL  2. Analytics  - Analyze data using R, open source packages and commercial/enterprise applications. Cluster large amount of user generated content. Perform statistical analysis methods, such as classification, sentiment analysis, predictive modeling, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation methods. Drive client engagements focused on Advanced Business Analytics, in diverse domains such as product development, marketing research, public policy, optimization, and risk management. Expertise in at least one of the following fields: Statistical modeling, Content Analytics, Text Mining, Text Analytics, Entity extraction, Natural Language Processing. Develop and apply machine learning, and statistical analysis methods, such as classification, association rules, time-series analysis, advanced regression methods and hypothesis testing Experience working with large datasets and problems. Strong mathematical background with ability to understand algorithms and methods from a mathematical viewpoint and an intuitive viewpoint. Proficiency in analysis (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab) packages. Experience in R is required.  3. Visualization -   - Responsible for delivery of assigned module/ components /phases of a project and status reporting. Technical problem solving skills. Lead the Platform exploratory BI and data visualization platform roadmap and product plan. Identify, specify, and prioritize features and capabilities through direct input with customers. Be the product champion externally, and passionate voice of the customer internally. Customer Advocate – understands customer needs, pain points, and opportunities. Competitive intelligence – understand competition and industry to build a winning plan. Extensive experience in Developing reports, Dashboard in Tableau. Sound knowledge on Tableau architecture, design and development. Good experience in working with Tableau Desktop/Server. Familiarity with best practices around visualization and design. Experience in building Data Warehouses, report development using Enterprise Data Warehouses  Candidates who have been interviewed in the recent past need not apply again.
