Position/Job Title : Chief Executive Officer

Reporting To : Board of Directors- KNPL

Job Location: Bangalore, India

Organization Background :

KNPL is backed by a large metals and mining company whose roots date back to 1960s. The group has various business interests, which are focused primarily on mining and associated industries such as, Port & logistics, Infrastructure development and Renewable energy.

For the last 25 years, we have been incessantly driving our quest in improving the environment.

Govt. of India, Govt. of Karnataka, and various statutory bodies have all appreciated and acknowledged the excellent and exemplary afforestation, and environment management in and around our mining areas, as well as acknowledging our company`s commitment to social responsibilities.

The group has recently ventured into eCommerce space and seeks experienced Head of Business to lead this project.

Job Responsibilities And Challenges :

- Reports to the Board of Directors.

- A Business Leader responsible for full P&L of the project

- Lead the company across all functions, like Marketing, Finance, Operations, Vendor Management, etc.

- Ability to plan, develop, and implement business plans.

- Expert marketer and ability to lead the entire business strategy for launch and expansion.

- Hands on approach, out of box thinker, go- getter and a seasoned professional

- Goal setting for company and chasing them for growth

- Multi-functional knowledge and team management

Qualifications :

Education :

- Well Qualified Candidate from Tier-I institute preferably from IIT, IIM, XLRI, FMS, etc, preferably MBA

Experience :

- 8 -10 years experience in leadership role of which at least 3 years in eCommerce

- Handled product launches, advertising, sales, marketing and revenue generation

- Operational experience, Preferably a Product Category Head in a Large E-Commerce company

- Experience of logistics & vendor management an added advantage
