Knowledge Analyst - Procurement & SCM

We have an urgent opening for the position of Knowledge Analyst- Procurement and Supply Management with an leading company.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a strong candidate to fill a Knowledge Analyst position in the Operations Practice Area's Procurement Topic.

- Work with case teams on expert research and delivers original analysis and insights on Operations strategy with particular focus on procurement, sourcing and supply management.

- Provide thought partnership and expert source know-how to case & topic/sector teams

- Share topic/sector insights and points of view more broadly within the firm

- Gain expertise by conducting interviews at the end of a case

- Contribute to company growing knowledge base

- Learn the business & build expertise

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with case (and proposal) teams :

- Partners with case teams to identify & address critical knowledge needs

- Establishes credibility with case teams regarding the procurement topic and practice area; takes positions/draws conclusions on a range of external and internal issues; full case team integration can be possible

- Provides customized knowledge for client work, prepares accurate, well developed documents and charts

- Delivers original analysis and insights to case team, provides thought partnership

- Liaises with DRS and external agencies to ensure that requests for expertise are addressed by KT and appropriate research is delivered

- With consultants, collects, synthesizes, analyzes case team learning & inputs into new knowledge products (vignettes, experience)

Work with topic/sector teams:

- Builds & updates new topic/sector-related customized knowledge products

- Controls KM databases consistency

- Reviews knowledge products & ensures they are current & relevant and updates when appropriate

- Assures proper sign-off before uploading materials into KM & contributes to sanitization

- Writes abstracts & indexes projects & Procurement topic documents

- Collaborates on Procurement topic intellectual capital development such as Tier 1s

- Contributes to content development around topic/sector for Procurement meetings & trainings

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong work ethic & service-mentality

- 1-2 years with specific industry knowledge or Bachelor / Master degree in field

- Some exposure and understanding of operational realities in Procurement and Operations

- Demonstrates passion for the topic

- Effective written & verbal communication

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Starting to grow an industry network

- Ability to provide analytical advice

- Ability to multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organization

- Strong interpersonal, credibility

- Collaborative, team player

- Ability to maintain discretion when needed
