Our mission - to provide the highest quality of service in this industry and honoring the "Save Time, Save Money!" promise to our customers, while keeping up the familiar and fun aspect of everyday shopping.  Planet 11 is backed by SK Planet, one of South Korea's leading internet businesses.  Job description  As a head of buying & merchandising, you would be responsible to lead our B2B operations by developing a platform to connect stockist/distributors/wholesalers/brands directly to kirana stores. Our B2B business will focus on all categories which are serviced by kirana stores- Food, home needs, personal care, fresh & vegetables and meat & seafood.  Key Responsibilities  1. Develop an end to end solution from procurement to delivery to the kirana stores  2. Be responsible for managing the profit & loss accounts of B2B division  3. Develop sales strategy for all the stakeholders involved   4. Develop business model, pilot the approach and change based on the key learnings  5. Establish a system to identify areas of growth, find opportunities and develop a strategy to tap the identified opportunities   6. Relationship management with all brands/stockists/distributors/wholesalers  7. Provide inputs to the IT team on development of web and mobile platforms  8. Be responsible for pricing and margin negotiations   9. Drive necessary promotions  10. Work with online & offline marketing teams to develop strategy for B2B marketing activities and own such activities  11. Responsible for team building, retaining and appraisals   12. Owns responsibility of team's actions, result and mistakes  13. Set KPIs for team and track progress  Requirements  1. MBA with around 10-15 years of experience in buying & sourcing  2. Previous experience with grocery retail is a must  3. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills with the ability to manage business operations independently
