As part of continuous focus on growth at one of the leading HCM Product Company's Chennai Center, we are currently looking for a senior software engineering manager/engineering manager for leading our platform development in HCM space. This is a hands-on leadership role with technical as well as managerial responsibilities. This role requires a candidate with deep application development experience and product delivery experience in a well-known product company.  Roles and responsibilities:  - This person has to manage a team of Developers and QA engineers working on ADP products.  - Technical responsibilities will include driving innovation within the team to provide solution for the unmet needs of the product and conceptualizing, architecting, delivering the HCM application experience by closely working with other stakeholders like product management, scrum masters and development team.  - Lead, mentor and motivate team members to maximize their potential, to deliver high quality software and continually improve the development process  - Own, define and work with cross-functional teams to deliver key programs meeting ADP’s objectives and expectations   - Drive initiatives, process and approaches to improve quality, productivity and efficiency  - Management responsibilities include project management, process management, quality management, people management, talent acquisition, performance management, rewards planning activities and development of team.   Desired skills and experience:  Technical:   - B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience   - Strong technical background in delivering features/solutions on cloud based customer facing applications   - Extensive programming experience in Java/C# with strong object oriented design & programing skills   - Large & complex systems software design and development experience   Management:   - Minimum 8 years of proven track record in people management for at least 10 engineers with skills on talent acquisition, performance management, rewards planning activities and development of team; proven experience in leading, coaching and mentoring teams.   - Minimum 8 years of proven track record in project management that includes planning, tracking, managing priorities, setting expectations, process/risk/issue management and delivering commitments with focus on quality and process adherence   - Experience of working in an international team context in distributed projects   - Proven track record of delivering software in agile methods and techniques as well as continuous integration   Leadership:   - Strategic & Incisive thinking with decisiveness and strong perseverance   - Zeal for innovation and questioning the conventional thinking.
