Head - Cataloguing Services - Ecommerce Overall purpose and objective of the position : Opportunity to join a leading integrated financial services provider, ranked among the top 5 in India across its business verticals. The group is about to embark on a diversification initiative to establish its presence in the eCommerce ecosystem in India. They are looking to provide Cataloguing services for ecommerce portals and sellers with the objective of increasing sales. They intend to provide services ranging from image processing, content management, catalogue creation, updating and continuous maintenance.They are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to head this initiative and champion it through the setting up and growth phase. As the internal Leader for this initiative, the person shall ensure swift progress in execution of strategies and engage with internal / external sources to promote growth and profitability. Roles & responsibilities : - Responsible for setup and launch and driving the overall growth of the Cataloguing Services business unit. - P&L responsibility of the Cataloguing Services business unit. - Providing inputs to build the business unit strategy to achieve business objectives. - Closely monitoring the business unit operations to ensure high efficiency. - Liaising with the business development team to onboard new clients. - Define KPI's and KRA's for team members to measure progress towards business objectives. Work experience required : - 10-15 years of work experience; with experience in Cataloguing/ Photostudio services. - Strong background in technology and operations, preferably in ecommerce. - Some experience in Business Development/ Key Account Management roles is preferred. Expected qualifications : Graduation : B.E./ B. Tech (Preferably from a Computer Science or equivalent background), from a premier institute. Post-graduation : Business Management/Technology,preferred from Tier 1 institutes. Skills Required : Preferable to have an understanding of image processing and systems integration. The successful candidate will : - Be willing to relocate as per business requirements. - Be mobile and open to extensive travel for setting up the new line of business (LoB). - Entrepreneurial in nature and capable of setting up the LoB bottom up. - Possess outstanding analytical skills and strong expertise in interpreting results and deriving insights. - Possess excellent communication skills in written and oral communication in English. - Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision making skills. - Be adept at identification of right performance metrics and assessing progress against them.
