Position Title : Assistant Manager - Materials Management

Reports to : Sr.Manager - Supply Planning and Inventory Management

Department : Supply Chain

Job Purpose : To lead Supply/ Demand and Inventory Management across the Supply Chain.

Description :

Manage in the following areas :

- Ensuring availability of all the ingredients at all the time in alignment with SCCs within agreed norms. This will involve getting sourcing plan generated, coordinate with sourcing team for sharing of share-of-business, getting timely release of POs to vendors, tracking dispatch, review Inventory levels with SCCs and take corrective action to ensure availability

- Setting inventory norms for all the SKUs at all the commissaries

- Periodic review of forecast and take corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy

- Measuring vendor performance, identify key issues and discuss with vendors for the corrective actions

- Minimize logistics cost & Obsolescence

- Participate and interact with cross-functional team in S&OP process

- Ensure successful launch of new products with timely availability of new ingredients and phase-out of the product as well

- SLOB Management

- Periodic publishing of planning dashboard to internal stakeholders

- Align business by regular reporting on product availability

- Efficient use of IT tools for planning, analytics and performance monitoring & reporting

- Support and drive various business critical projects including implementation of latest SCM technology solution in the department from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS :

Qualification - Engineering Graduate / PG. Materials Management/ MBA

Experience - 2 to 4 years experience in the specialized Supply Chain services industry. Can consider a fresh management graduate with previous working experience.

Skills Required :

- Strong Analytical & Interpersonal skills

- SAP or any such IT system hands-on work experience

- Good knowledge of MS Office

- Strong communicator
