Product Risk Management, in partnership with the line of business management, covers all risks facing our clients and products across the globe.   Opportunity  The successful candidate will join the Investor Services Risk Management team to lead the independent risk coverage of our GSC activities. The role involves significant interaction with, Product Management, Operations, Product Risk Management colleagues globally. A prior knowledge of the core Investor Services product companies would be advantageous. A sound understanding of financial markets, Bank, Insurance and Fund industry sectors would also be advantageous.   Requirements  A Product Risk Manager within Investor Services must build an effective partnership with business management and have an understanding of the products, processes and strategic goals of the business to enable a holistic approach to risk management.  Essential Duties  Independently identify, assess, and ensure risks (inherent operational, fiduciary, reputational, credit and market risks) are proactively managed across products, client segments, business functions and geographies/ legal entities against risk tolerance levels; advise management on risk profile and emerging risks; recommend & ensure appropriate mitigating actions are taken to achieve risk tolerance levels   - Working with regional risk partners to identify key risk concerns from a product , client and regulatory perspective and develop a GSC product risk framework to ensure that an end to end risk view is taken across IS activities  - Leverage reviews and quality assurance testing conducted by OCM and communicate status of BAU controls to regional risk partners on an ongoing basis   - Working with OCM , identify KRI’s appropriate to the GSC operational risk framework and communicate to regional risk partners on a monthly basis   - Carry out independent risk reviews of higher risk activities and communicate outcome to regional risk partners  - Independently review and critique high risk RCSA templates and associated action plans across the GSC for both utilities and processing centers. Communicate status of completion to regional risk partners   - Identify with regional risk partners any high risk offshoring migrations via the ATC framework and review status and execution of such migrations   - Proactively monitor KRI’s for capacity or processing constraints and report to regional risk partners  - Engage with regional hubs on New deal activity/client transactions and ensure that the GSC is well prepared for new client onboardings etc..  - Escalate to regional risk partners any emerging client or regulatory concerns identified by the operations teams   - Work proactively with IRM and resiliency partners to ensure that technology concerns are proactively managed and communicated to the regional risk partners  - Ensure that risk are integrated into critical GSC projects and initiatives and communicate back to regional risk partners   - Represent product risk management at key GSC senior management forums   - Support legal entity view of offshoring agenda by identifying which legal entities impacted and determine whether SLA's are in place etc.  - Represent product risk management and provide support for client / regulator visits in region   - Engage on broader IS risk initiatives on an ongoing basis e.g. MBM TAG initiative  - Engage in E2E product risk reviews and provide GSC specific input   - Coordinate effectively with APAC Product Risk colleagues to ensure clear coverage of India DCC and DR activity.
