This Associate role sits within the LEC function, specifically providing coverage to Bank and Subsidiary entities in India. The role is responsible for maintenance of books of accounts under US GAAP and Local GAAP, Legal Entity reporting, US Reg and India Reg reporting, Control metrics reporting including reconciliation and Tax support. The role is based in Mumbai.  Requirements  - A degree in accounting or finance related discipline   - A recognized professional accounting qualification   - 4 to 5 years of working experience  - Hands on knowledge on Oracle General Ledger   - Mature, independent, self-motivated, conscientious, able to work under pressure and drive changes  - Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills   - Sound analytical and problem solving skills   - Excellent skills in Microsoft applications   - Positive attitude and a good team player  Responsibilities:   - Day to day finance operations, execute month end closing process in US GAAP and Indian GAAP.   - US GAAP regulatory reporting   - Legal entity reporting and tax reporting   - Regulatory reporting to Reserve Bank of India on monthly basis  - Accounting and reporting for service tax  - Preparation of financial packs for local governance framework  - Liaise with external and internal auditors and coordinate the annual audit process, including the finalization of audited financial statements
