Position: Assistant Finance Manager, Consumer Med Tech, India  Reporting to: Regional Finance Manager, Vision Care  Direct Reports: External Contractors  Job Summary:  The main function of the position In the position the person needs to manage end to end finance for the Vision Care and Diabetes Care Franchises in India. The role includes complete Accounting/Reporting (FP&A), SOX and Internal Controls and business partnering for these franchises. The incumbent would be reporting to Regional Finance Manager (Singapore) and will be having high degree of interaction with the country BU teams; Country or Regional Finance/COE teams & external Acctg firms. The position will also have to work with India Medical Device/Corporate Shared Services for all Audit/SOX/results consolidation/Tax and other requirements.  WORKING RELATIONSHIPS  Internal and external contacts.  Internal: Country Sales Director & business leadership team; Local shared services; Country Functions & Regional finance teams.   External: Auditors; Acctg Firms  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:  - Complete the business planning and various financial updates with comprehensiveness, accuracy & providing business insights in collaboration with the Country Sales Director.  - Be equal partner in business growth and delivery of P&L for the country - provide thoughts to achieve the results.   - Ensure correctness and completeness of accounting & adequacy of controls at all times.  - Liaise closely with the regional finance team in areas of financial planning, updates, process standardization & implementation of guidelines.  - Closely monitor all financial metrics for the country and highlight risks and opportunities on a timely manner being closely connected with Sales Director & Regional Finance Mgr.  - Provide Standard/Adhoc Reporting/Analytics.  - Ensure policies and procedures are followed - WWP, Regional and local.  REQUIREMENTS:  Competency:  - Ability to work in a complex and matrix environment   - Quick learner and high aptitude to work in dynamic environment  - Analytical and hard working - ability to deep dive on numbers.  - High on team work and collaboration  Experience & Knowledge:  - 4-6 years experience in financial control, planning and analysis with preference for matrix / complex environment work experience.  - Knowledge of TM1, Cognos and SAP  - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required  Education & Professional Qualification:  - Chartered Accountant (preferably single attempt / Rank holder)  Language Requirements:  - Fluency in English & excellent in communication.
