JMN Investments Research - Associate Research Analyst - Clean Energy

JMN Investments Research is looking for dynamic and hard working individuals to join our team as - Associate Research Analyst - Clean Energy. We're looking for motivated candidates with outstanding track record and the drive to work alongside some of the world's leading financial services companies.

Suitable candidates will receive world-class training from experienced investment professionals along with an opportunity to work alongside some of the best analysts in the investment community.

Candidates will work in Chennai, India as an offshore associate and provide support to Senior Analysts based overseas. He/She will work with experienced analysts to support their efforts in collecting and analyzing industry and company data.

Qualifications :

- A CA/MBA/CFA with at least 3 years of work experience in a clean energy company to conduct financial analysis on clean tech companies.

- Prior experience within the finance area of a clean energy company preferred.

- Fluency in written and spoken English

- Strong Excel modeling skills

- Ability to interact with industry participants to collect data (channel checks), build rapport with vendors and suppliers to acquire industry trend information

Associate Analyst duties include :

- Collect financial data using on-line sources to build and maintain databases

- Collect data through channel checks

- Build and maintain financial models to forecast financial results of clean energy companies.

- Analyze companies based on their published financial statements and annual reports.

- Help write investment research reports

- Persuasively articulate investment ideas

- Undertake special projects requiring Internet and screen-based research
