Job Description - Vendor Management:
1) Evaluate and enrol new vendors
2) Negotiate with vendor for better prices
3) Maintain and improve Service delivery across vendor supply
4) Establish and enhance vendor relationship
5) Review service delivery with vendors
6) Review of Price and products
Projects:
1) AMC management for Printers, Avaya devices, UPS, Batteries and other IT assets
2) Refresh of PCs/Laptops and other network devices
3) Other ad-hoc projects
Day to Day operations:
1) Take care of request tickets related to IT procurement and service requests around other assets like data card, printers
2) Ensure necessary approvals and processes are adhered to
3) Quality Product procurement in-line with the request made by the user
4) Manage SLA for overall procurement of IT Assets (hardware/Software)
5) Create Purchase Orders wherever required for Purchase requests made by the users, after due process and approvals are provided
6) Update users if there is any delay in shipment
7) Coordination with vendor in timely receipt of Invoices with complete documents for processing of payments
8) Coordination with finance for timely release of vendor payments, follow-up and escalate to IT TRM in timely manner
9) Tracking and closure of tickets in timely manner
10) Updation of SAR (Software Asset Register) for all new purchase of Software
