ITC is looking for an experienced Data Architect for its DW/BI & Analytics Practice based out of Bangalore.  Job Responsibility:  - Define processes for data architecture design, review and performance optimization  - Data / Dimensional Modeling for data architectures from Retail, BFSI, Travel, Media & Entertainment, etc.  - Assistance in non-relational (NoSQL) Data Modeling  - Business Intelligence and Data Governance roadmaps, strategies and recommendations  Required Skills and experience:  Technical Skills:  Primary:  - Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Architectures  - Data Modeling (Normalizations till 3/4NF, De-normalizations, Logical & Physical)  - Dimensional Modeling  - Strong SQL & PL/SQL (T-SQL) Skills  - Strong Data Profiling skills  - Performance Optimization of database I/O and ETL processes  - Knowledge of NoSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.)  Secondary:  - Experience with Pre-sales activities  - Understanding of BIG Data architecture  - Hands-on experience with NoSQL database applications  - Knowledge of Database Administration  - Object-oriented programming skills  - 8 -14 years of experience in designing and developing Relational and Dimensional data models for disparate domains and clients  - Sound knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence architectures  - Very strong SQL and programming skills in interfacing with databases  - Sound understanding of physical database structures and I/O processes  - Ability to adapt to new technologies (NoSQL design, “BIG Data” processing)  - Sound consulting skills and capability to define processes and frameworks   Educational Qualification:  - Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems
