Manager - Loyalty Systems  Corporate  Job Purpose :  The jobholder will be the expert on and provide intellectual leadership in all loyalty systems/ processes/ new technologies and champion business strategies in this field. A creative, interpretative approach is essential, with self-sufficiency in the full range of operations in order to make the systems work in practice.  Job Accountabilities Linked To Objective Areas :  - Implement, enhance and manage (from the business perspective) the corporate loyalty systems and processes with the objective of retaining existing members and acquiring new members resulting in improved knowledge of customer behavior and yield  - Evaluate and manage the enhancement budget, perform UAT and sign-off business requirements, conduct impact analysis and get business approvals where required and implement business change processes  - Through innovative and practical systems and process design, manage the provision of necessary tools and functionality to staff and customers. Success will significantly influence customer choice of our brands over competition and failure will damage our brand's superior image and market position  - Continually monitor and perform health checks on all system and key processes to ensure optimal system performance and proper execution of various business rules  - Preparation of business cases for future investment, specification of system requirements, customization and implementation in conjunction with the IT department  - Establish appropriate, reliable and efficient data exchanges with partners and other internal systems to ensure the smooth cost-effective operation of all partnerships  - Design and implement training from the system perspective to ensure users fully exploit the functionality of all systems  - Keep up to date with market developments and ensure that technological developments are fully exploited  - Carry out system security and administration functions  Skills :  Qualifications/Experience :  - University degree with relevant IT qualifications  - Experience in the management and operational support of information systems for a business unit with at least 3-6 years of this specifically in retail and/or loyalty industry  Knowledge/ Ability/ Skills :  - Siebel 8.x  - Oracle Retail/ Finance  - OBIE, OBIE Answers  - Exposure to other hospitality industry systems and practices will be an advantage  - Critical Competencies (Maximum of 6)  - Customer Service Orientation  - Organizing for Results  - Attention to detail and quality  - Leadership  - Problem Solving and Decision Making  - Strategic Thinking  - Other Relevant Competencies (Maximum Of 4)  - Continuous Learning  - Interpersonal Ability  - Business Awareness
