For those who are freakishly organized, turned on by mental math, in love with excel, proud of their communication skills, and above all can manage timely execution of anything!  “Products Manager”   - Ensure all products are always in stock, while wastage is minimum (target = 0%!). That means you will be preparing supply orders for farmers, always keeping up with changes in demand and planning accordingly. This will be both for perishables (fruits, veggies) and non-perishables (grains, pulses, spices, oils, honey etc).   - Always up to date about plans and goals of the marketing team, to predict changes in demand and plan accordingly.  - Weekly analysis and reporting about status of stock, what’s moving fast, what’s moving slow.   - Analyze the trends from the past 2 years, do whatever surveys necessary, to prepare forecasts for the forthcoming year. These will get used to plan the next crop cycle with farmers, identify farmers in other agro-climatic regions if needed, and also decide quantities for crops needed to be bulk purchased. Goes without saying that you have to be great with numbers and excel!  - Keeping a check on the day-to-day frontend operations – quality checks, packing, deliveries.  - Overseeing the client servicing team, setting up effective feedback mechanism to identify weak points, create a plan to rectify, and coordinate across all teams to implement  - Working closely with the marketing team to ensure targets are met. Facilitating the link between marketing and operations  - Deciding schemes and promotions based on stock, perishability etc. Again, the aim being no wastage.   - In collaboration with the marketing team, preparing systems to track the effectiveness of such schemes or other campaigns.
