Department/Section : Quality Assurance  Location : IQB Chennai   Job Title : Quality Assurance Manager  Reports To : General Manager  General Description :  Ensures delivered quality meets or exceeds contracted service level agreements by developing quality measures and procedures, sampling plans, validating processes, providing quality recommendation to Operations and managing the Quality Assurance team. Drive process changes & improvements throughout the organization.  Duties And Responsibilities :  - Leads the Quality Assurance team by acquiring people with the right skills, providing training and coaching, planning and organizing, instilling discipline by enforcing company policies and procedures, managing performance and constantly communicating with the team.   - Develops quality plans by analyzing current quality performance, trends, mapping processes and identifying critical requirements. Develop and execute appropriate sampling plans and procedures, analyzing results and providing timely feedback and participate in the formulation of corrective and preventive actions.   - Analyze existing production processes, internal and external quality findings and help come up with corrective measures to stabilize performance and improve the quality of the output.   - Implements quality procedures and programs to improve quality management.   - Align Company's practices and procedures to ISO acceptable standards.   - Prepares and maintains quality documentation of processes and quality performance that aids in formulating improvement in quality delivery and management.   - Ensures that the financial aspect is appropriately monitored by looking at variance analysis, proper expense management, developing the annual budget and initiating action to align financial performance with targets.   - Participates in the implementation of new accounts, reviewing quality requirements and developing quality plans for smoother implementation.   - Provide quality training to Operations.   - Keeps oneself abreast to new trends and knowledge in Quality management exploring new opportunities to add value to the team.   - Coordinates with multi-site quality related initiatives.   - Accepts other tasks as may be assigned.   Education Requirements :  - A graduate of any of the following courses Commerce, Finance or Management Engineering or related courses.   - Post-graduate in Mathematics, Statistics & Management is added advantage   Work Experience Requirements :  - Six plus years work experience in a BPO, KPO, LPO or similar industries   - Not less than 3 years experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role.   - Working knowledge in Six Sigma or Lean Management required.   - Experience in managing an ISO certification preferred.   Other Requirements :  - Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint   - Excellent English communication (written and verbal) skills   - Building Partnership: Identifying opportunities and taking action to build strategic relationships between one's area and other areas, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals.   - Developing Others: Planning and supporting the development of individuals- skills and abilities so that they can fulfill current or future job/role responsibilities more effectively.   - Facilitating Change: Encouraging others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities; facilitating the implementation and acceptance of change within the organization.   - Formal Presentation: Presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups when given time to prepare; delivering presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.   - Gaining Commitment: Using appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans; modifying one's own behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved.   - Strategic Decision Making: Obtaining information and identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision; committing to a course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision after developing alternatives based on logical assumptions, facts, available resources, constraints and organizational values.
