Inventory Specialist  Under the direction of the Senior Director of Finance, the incumbent leads in the development and enhancement of inventory systems exercises control over inventory systems including procedure development and audit to ensure the completeness and accuracy of recorded inventory, and the proper cut-off of transactions. Coordinates with external inventory handlers and vendors for receiving & reconciling inventory reports with the company's accounting records & system stock.  - Compiles records from receiving, ordering and shipping  - Coordinates receipt of inbound inventory from field staff & reconciles with receipt information from USDA/handler locations  - Coordinates with the logistics and operations team for proper allocation & utilization of inventory at time of shipment  - Reviews and supervises global business services team recording of transactions in the system and coordination with logistics team to ensure all transactions are properly recorded  - Updates information in SAP to maintain accurate inventory records   - Conducts monthly reconciliation between system inventory & warehouse reports from external inventory handlers  - Assist with inventory revaluation on a half yearly basis  - Provides inventory reports on a weekly and monthly basis  - Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items, using appropriate methods and processes  Location: Chennai
