INTERNAL AUDITOR  We have been retained by an established European Bank, having their operations in India to identify an INTERNAL AUDITOR, to be based at Mumbai.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  - To provide a view on significant risks (including emerging or potential risks) within the units being audited and an assessment as to whether these risks are being adequately managed.   - An overall assessment on the state of controls within the units being audited.  - Effective & timely completion of all audits including detailed documentation as per the relevant audit methodology.  - Participate in all assigned audit activity in the country.  - Be engaged with audit planning, reports and debriefs in country.   - Delivery of quality audit reports in a timely manner;  - Ensure issues raised are appropriately resolved in a timely manner.  - Ensure early identification and escalation of risks, issues, trends and developments to relevant stakeholders  - Be prepared to raise issues/concerns outside the normal audit process;   - Adopt an anticipatory approach to risk assessment through stakeholder communication and monitoring of external environment to improve audit planning.  AUDIT EXPOSURE:  It is essential for the candidates to have operations audit exposure to the following areas:  - Trade services.  - Remittances.  - Deposits.  - Loans.  - Cheque collections.  - Nostro reconciliation.   - Accounts payable.  - Accounting.  - Human resources.  - Compliance.  - Legal.  ESSENTIAL SKILLS:  - Ability to work effectively in a team  - Ability to lead a team.  - Strong communicator with an ability to gain the respect from their teams, peers, senior management and business stakeholders;  - Confident and courageous to raise concerns and issues in a proactive and professional manner;   - Self directed and able to work with minimum supervision, escalating issues in appropriately and in a timely manner.  Candidates desirous of contesting this position should be Chartered Accountants with 8 to 10 years relevant experience, and may respond with their recent scanned photo and CV in word forma
