Job purpose:

- As Product Manager, you provide product ownership for the InsideView public API suite within a cross-functional team, working in collaboration with the Director of Platform Product Management.

- Your background allows you to validate the product strategy and high-level requirements, grooming and prioritizing the backlogs for the API product and validating internal and external deliverables. Therefore you will be a key member of the product management community where a deep understanding of enterprise application scalability, security and availability are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with cross functional teams to assess and translate (external and internal) customer needs into API contracts

- Define requirements from high-level themes to actionable features

- Define API contracts/interfaces with extreme attention to details

- Serve as a steward that ensures APIs deliver value to the enterprise

- Be the first user of the API

- Evangelize and apply agile scrum methodologies to scrum teams

- Manage and continuously prioritize an evolving product backlog

- Define and analyze metrics to assess the success of our products

- Remain continuously informed of relevant emerging industry trends

Skills & Experiences:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

- Experience working in highly motivated / high performing product teams with emphasis on building or extensively leveraging API

- Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner

- Expertise in REST semantics and RESTFul architecture

- Cross platform development experience, ideally on server-side integrations, mobile, and web.

- Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills

- Excellent team player, with the ability to lead without formal authority
