Brief Background of the Job The person will be responsible for leading an innovation & new product launch team to conceptualize,design and execute customer facing solutions with a key focus on digital for retail liabilities. The incumbent will manage the innovation process which includes insight generation, translating the insight into product concept, taking the insight through the stage gate innovation model, working on feasibility, capability & launch of the approved product
Roles and Responsibilities The role includes:
- Leading the generation of Insights & ideas through Primary & Secondary Research. For Primary Research work closely with the Consumer Insights team to drive an ongoing insight generation research followed by iterative research for revalidation.
- S/he is expected to be track the innovation landscape and emerging trends across industries to identify solution opportunities
- S/he is expected to be inculcate consumer thinking and design expertise in the team through training and other structural interventions
- S/he will be responsible for converting the insights into meaningful product concepts for further testing and approval from senior management.
- S/he will be expected to manage the innovation funnel - fueling the funnel with new ideas as well moving the approved ideas through feasibility, capability and launch.
- S/he will need establish close coordination with cross functional teams - IT, Operations, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Marketing, BIU etc on an ongoing basis for implementation & launch of approved ideas
Academic Qualifications Required Ideal candidate will be an MBA in marketing from a reputed business school
Professional Relevant Work Experience Required 7-8 years- experience, preferably in Digital Innovation/NPD/Consumer Insights in BFSI, eCommerce & telecom
