Responsibilities:
- Participate and lead estimation activities for proposals and pre sales discussions
- Facilitate project scoping, requirements meetings with the stakeholders, ensure traceability and sign off
- Implement change management processes in the project
- Assess project status and risks and report to the management
- Prepare detailed project execution plan and resource model, and manage changes from the baseline
- Conduct project profitability analysis
- Implement initiatives on continuous quality improvements, measure the quality against the goals
- Prepare project milestone and metrics reports at regular intervals
- Liaison with onsite Project Manager for evaluating risks and identify & implement mitigation steps
- Team mentoring, competency development, performance management, team building, rewards and recognition, compliance to company HR policies
- Build strong relationship with all stakeholders and be the SPOC for the customer for the project activities
Skills:
- Project Management Certifications like PMP
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Quantitative Project Management
- LOMA Insurance Certifications
- Experience in working on Insurance administration products/platforms
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Progress 4GL based project handling.
- SQL, PL/SQL, Database modeling
- Experience in Indian Insurance industry will be a plus
Qualification:
- Degree in engineering or a master of computer application with minimum of 8 years of IT experience in relevant roles
