Job Title : Sales Head - Merchant Acquiring

Job Location : Gurgaon

Position Reporting To : Head - Payments Business

Job Summary :

- To define, lead and execute the Merchant Acquiring Sales and Product strategy with support from Branches/Channels and Geography teams

- To drive the usage of POS terminals/Payment Gateways, new age Digital POS solutions and co-originate LACR and Business Loan products.

- Track and achieve revenue/penetration and sales targets as stipulated by Govt and regulatory bodies and management

Detailed Responsibility :

- New business acquisition

- Manage the Merchant Acquiring P&L of the organization

- Drive ecosystem partnerships with fintech and aggregator

- Work with branches and sales teams for lead generation and closure

- Generate independent leads from references and close them pro-actively

- Understanding of KYC, costing, pricing, subvention

- Generate performance reports and identify gaps/opportunities

- Drive top line revenue

- Retain clients by building relationship and growing portfolios

- Customer Acquisition

- Responsible for acquiring merchant acquiring and Current/BBG account customers.

Preferred Skill Set / Education / Background :

- Deep understanding of Merchant Acquiring business including new age digital POS channels

- Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

- Understanding of KYC guidelines and its applicability in Merchant Acq biz

- Written and verbal knowledge of English and the local language in the market

- Presentable and dynamic

- Sound Analytical and logical reasoning capabilities.

- MBA from Tier 1 B-School

- Should have managed cross functional Projects

- Excellent Communication Skills
