About our Client: Our client is a European MNC in the Travel space. A multi-billion dollar business with global operations. They are looking to expand operations in India. They are looking for a Head Taxation to expand their taxation function based out of their headquarters in Gurgaon.

Job Description: Reporting into the CFO, you will be leading a team of 5 and will be responsible for:

- Ensuring right amount of taxes (Income Tax, TDS, Service Tax, and VAT etc) are paid to authorities and other statutory requirements are fulfilled

- Coordinating statutory audit and ensuring timely closing of annual financials

- Coordinating with the required Big 4 consulting firms for annual tax audit and for annual transfer pricing certification.

- Reviewing balance sheet file for all locations to ensure that all open items are reconciled

- Ensuring Inter-branch is fully reconciled monthly, If there is any issue it should be escalated

- Provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction to the Finance team

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a CA with minimum 10 years experience post qualification, with expertise in Service Tax

- Strong leadership exposure

- With good communication and presentation skills.
