Position : Analyst - Indirect Tax  Location : Mumbai, Vikhroli  Education : Bcom or Inter CA only  - Supervise end to end accounting of VAT, LBT, service tax, etc.  - Liaise with respective teams internally / externally for return preparations, filing, etc  - Prepare VAT, LBT and service tax returns on periodical basis as per timelines  - Prepare refund filing applications for VAT, LBT, service tax, etc.  - Appear before tax authorities in respect of any assessments, return filings, refund filings, etc.  - Prepare month end reports for tax liabilities, payment thereof, etc.  - To maintain the books of accounts and verify correctness of entries  - To assist in day to day accounting, month end book closure and year end audits.  Please note the following in addition to the above JD  - Strong knowledge & experience in Indirect Taxation specifically into Service Tax  - Experience in Service Tax filing, Service Tax calculations, Service Tax Audits and Service Tax Refunds is a must  Please look at someone with good communication skills, incase someone comes at a little higher CTC, please do share, will see if we can work out on something  - Should be willing to travel to Pune for Tax hearings & Audits as and when required. They may have to stay for more than a day if need be
