Acquiring and mentoring top-notch human capital will be a key area of focus.   - Expected to drive all end to end implementations that involve deployments and developments across Web, Mobile, Native Applications & Enterprise Solutions.   - Setting up processes to improve productivity and measure performance across the organization.   - Build a culture of ‘shipping fast’ within the technology team that ensures the organization builds & ships fast technology innovation through consumer & enterprise products at much faster pace in the industry.   - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices and ensure adoption by the team   - Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack).   - Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all products across multiple platforms.   - The role will involve working in / leading cross functional teams hence ability to manage executive relationships within the organization across product, marketing, operations and sales functions is required. Demonstrated ability in the above areas is a must.   - Working closely with the product team and ensure launches across platforms - web, mobile & applications.   - Expected to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Chief Executive Officer, Board Members and Advisors   Preferred Qualifications:   - The candidate is required to have about 15-20 years of experience in Technology with at least 3-6 years as Head of Technology / VP-Technology or Senior Leadership Role in Technology in the consumer internet space, with hands on experience in Technology.   - Demonstrated ability to operate in a high energy, fast paced environment and proven capabilities to manage multiple teams with focus on executive multiple priorities.   - Demonstrated ability to build, grow and nurture engineering teams.   - A strong algorithm background with exposure to Data Mining and Machine Learning Techniques.   - Experience in building end-to-end scalable web applications : algorithm development, system design and application layer.   - Deep knowledge of database technologies, architectural styles, backend infrastructures and hands on experience with multiple technology stacks.   - Entrepreneurial drive, experience in building or working in a technology startup is advantage.   - Computer Science or Engineering degree from top tier institutions are preferred.   Job Location: Chennai
