Job Assignments of Marketing Manager :

- To maintain and increase total market share of the organization as well as individual products in different sub-therapeutic segments in the market on profitable basis, so as to maximize the output of the sales regularly.

- Successful implementation of all pre-launch, launch and post launch activities for new product introductions and ensuring achievement of pre-determined sales objectives of those products.

- To give the national perspective and centralized thrust to the sales team, so as to give it directions for maximum efficiency and productivity, regular coordination and interaction with Sales Manager/Zonal Managers/Regional Managers/Area Managers and sales teams through correspondence, telecommunication, meetings & field visits and perfect and successful monitoring their performance.

- To give specific thrust to each product and each packing, so that the sales promotion is directed to get maximum usage of each product, yet enabling the product to stand apart with separate identity and separate spot vis-a-vis competitive products as well as to avoid overlapping of our different products and different packs.

- To prepare & after board approval implement annual marketing plan for the company encompassing the sales forecasting, area wise contribution, product wise contribution, marketing cost, annual promotional plan, product pricing and gross margins etc.

- To prepare quarterly and monthly action plan of the sales team, keeping in view the immediate objectives of next 3 months sale, annual objectives and commitments to the management.

- To provide additional centralized thrust in specific business segments e.g. poultry, aqua, animals and international business etc.

- To plan, organize and successfully implement sales campaigns.

- To develop and evolve required marketing and control/monitoring tools to monitor regular sales progress, stocks etc. Also database of doctors and effectively use all of them for sales promotion.

- To plan, organize and develop appropriate strategies for the products from time to time.

- To undertake field visits and participate in sales conferences for motivation of field staff and result oriented working of entire field staff, thereby improving their performance both quantitatively and qualitatively.

- To train, control and monitor the field staff to ensure that they achieve their targets for optimum output at a minimum cost.

- To contribute in training and development programmes of sales personnel particularly in the area of communication, detailing, selling skills, planning, problem analysis and handling etc.

- To organize proper stockists network and to minimize distribution cost in coordination with field staff.

- To monitor outstanding/over-dues so as to keep them within norms in coordination with managers and field force.

- To ensure timely settlement of all claims of stockists like Breakages, Schemes and Bonus Credit notes etc as per laid down policy of the company.

- To regularly and effectively coordinate with Production Department for timely production and availability of the products as per annual/quarterly plans for sales and production and time to time changes required in the same, as per product movement in the market.

- To implement the policies of the company effectively.

- Any other assignments that may be entrusted to you from time to time.
