Job Role :

- To conduct primary and secondary market research across commercial and residential property segments across top 7 cities in India

- Finding interesting opportunities in micro-markets within a city to invest, broker and/or advice clients

- Developer/builder analysis, site visits writing reports and building market contacts

- Publishing monthly and quarterly real estate research reports. Majority of the work will be in office setting, and some travel to property sites or meeting with investors, buyers, and/or sellers may be required

- Calculating vacancy rates, absorption, construction, rental rates, leasing, sales activity, and assisting in identifying new market trends

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Post graduate from a top ranking MBA school or a post graduate in Finance, Urban Planning, Btech/Mtech in Architecture.

- 4 years+ experienced analyst covering Indian property market.

- Understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals

- Smart writing skills and analytical experience required; Strong attention to detail

- Computer proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, knowledge of database tools like Bloomberg, and other financial data systems

- Ability to work independently on assigned projects
