Sr Director/Director - (Digital Media & Technology) Role: PE, M&A and Mezzanie Deal Origination Location: Mumbai - IndiaCapital is expanding its team and is looking to recruit a Technology) originator to support its Investment Banking activities. - This role is for a candidate with a strong background and successful record in the technology segment. - Excellent organization skills in the technology sector companies - prerequisite for consideration. - Relationship with investors in technology sector will be an added advantage - Candidates with relevant experience, relationship and expertise are encouraged to apply. - Should have excellent relationships & knowledge of the Indian technology sector having executed numerous mandates. - Candidates with Global investment banking experience is an advantage Key Result Area - Originate a variety of Growth Financing opportunities such as Private Equity, M&A, mezzanine capital, acquisition finance, pre-IPO finance etc - Network to bring in new clients and maintain regular contact with the top clients of the company - Plan and monitor the deal pipeline. - Work on deals in Technology, Digital media, ITeS and other sectors from end to end. - Work closely with the Investor team to originate as per Investors requirements/reverse enquiries. - Strategizing the long-term as well as short-term business plans to ensure maximum profitability and revenue generation for the organization - To build a strong & focused team so as to strengthen the organizations business - Any other duties assigned by the management. Desired Skills and Experience: - Strong Origination skills. - Excellent relationship with Technology companies & Investors across hierarchy. - Fair knowledge of legal and financial structures in the technology sector. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - A strong work ethic, self-motivation and a desire to succeed are key. - Sense of ownership as a steward of the company and an infectious passion for their area of responsibility - Education: Top-tier engineering (e.g. IITs)/MBA (e.g. Ivy League, IIMs)/ Economics graduate /Charter Accountant preferred - Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.
