Position Description :

The Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a key member of the corporate financial leadership team. This position reports directly to the Group CFO and will be responsible for :

- Delivering value-added analysis of financial performance as well as reporting meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful decision-making.

Key responsibilities :

The specific priorities for this role include, but are not limited to :

- Oversee the financial planning and analysis organization and partner with the management team to provide value-added insight into the financial performance of the group as well as individual businesses.

- Develop and monitor the company's annual budget and monthly forecasts, which shall include establishing budget tools, setting timelines and acting as project manager for the company, ensuring all budgets are accurate, comprehensive and completed on time.

- Drive an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives.

- Prepare a monthly/periodic reporting package that includes fully analyzed financial performance, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and dashboards

- Provide an effective control tool by developing actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.

- Support periodical external reporting, including earnings releases and earnings call support information.

- Prepare and monitor the company's long range strategic planning models

- Help develop and maintain financial modeling for the Group as well as individual businesses, financial analysis and valuation support for need based organizational initiatives, other ad-hoc financial projects.

- Assist in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial review meetings and investor presentations.

- Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.

- Maintain relationships with finance and cross functional teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow.

Qualifications :

- The successful candidate shall be Chartered accountant or MBA from reputed institute and will have about 10 years of relevant professional experience in BFSI space, preferably with private equity experience.

- He/she will have technical competence with Indian GAAP and Ind AS for related responsibilities, experience developing policies and procedures and supporting a robust control environment.

- He/she should be extremely proficient with Excel and Power point.

- He/she will work closely with the CFO and various teams across the organization around the Geographies.

- This position provides exposure to key accounting and reporting areas, offering development opportunities that can lead to advanced roles within the Finance organization.

- He/she is expected to have a strong results orientation with a track record of meeting or exceeding set objectives.

- He/she is expected to possess strong analytical skills, communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various levels of the organization to achieve the desired results.
