JOB OBJECTIVE :
This candidate will be responsible for devising the organizational learning strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. The incumbent will identify learning and developmental needs and drive suitable learning initiatives that build loyalty to the firm. The role will require working in close coordination with many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Description :
- Identify and assess future and current learning needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
- Working with business leaders and managers to identify training needs and trends within the business
- Designing, both in-house and with expert third parties, a solution which includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning & e-learning.
- Draw an overall or individualized learning and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
- Deploy a wide variety of learning methods
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
- Monitor and evaluate learning program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
- Manage the learning & development budget
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor learning programs as necessary
- Maintain a keen understanding of learning trends, developments and best practices
SPECIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES :
- MBA/MA- HR/OD
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in handling Learning & Development portfolio in the financial sector.
- Track record in executing successful learning programs and solutions
- Experience of partnering with third parties
- Familiarity with traditional and modern learning methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom learning, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Organised self-starter
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Positive outlook that can adapt to change quickly and effectively.
